21 апреля в ресторане «Золотой телец» в рамках Национальной Недели Доверия состоялся конкурс красоты «Miss Kharkiv International». В нем приняло участие 13 конкурсанток разных национальностей.

«Этот конкурс мы решили организовать для того, чтобы презентовать все многообразие и богатство национально-культурных объединений города. Поскольку Харьков — самый мультинациональный город Украины и здесь учится больше всего иностранных студентов», — заявила БИНОКЛЬ.инфо координатор Национальной Недели Доверия Ольга Болибок.

В течение 3 недель конкурсантки готовили свои национальные костюмы, вечерние платья, блюда, творческие номера и видео-визитки. Участвовали в прямых эфирах на телевидении, а 14 апреля впервые были представлены на открытии выставки «Единство» арт-работ национально-культурных объединений Харькова в филармонии. Также девушки выступили с благотворительным концертом в специализированной школе-интернате для детей с проблемами зрения имени Короленко.
